How to wire the WUDG floor heating thermostat


The black and white wires from the breaker box are connected to lines 2 & 3 on the thermostat.

The white and black wires from the heating system are connected to loads 1 & 4.

The floor sensor is connected to the back of the thermostat. Connect the sensor wire to terminals C & D of the thermostat.

NOTE: Terminals A & B are used only if connecting a relay.

 

Test the resistance of the sensor wire with a digital ohmmeter or multi-meter (set it to measure between 0-200 ohms). Usually, your readings will be between 8-15 depending on the floor temperature.

NOTE: All cables and connections must be carried out by a qualified electrician and must conform to the local electrical code.
