Is ultralight waterproof and sound proof?

Ultralight boards are not promoted as waterproofing boards, but they are technically water-resistant. Specs highlight and extremely high resistance to water-absorption and its polyethylene core does not support mold growth. Combined with the Warmup Waterproofing bands and corners, Ultralight can serve as a waterproofing and vapor barrier in a bathroom installation.

We have not yet tested the sound dampening properties of Ultralight. Due to its construction, we expect it to perform well in upcoming tests. Please see below and here for full specifications and feel free to contact Warmup for further details on sound proofing.
