Can I Install a Warmup System Under Carpet Tiles?

When heating under carpet tiles, Warmup recommends the DCM-PRO or StickyMat system embedded in latex based modified polymer self-leveling compound prior to the installation of the carpet tiles.

It is important that you select “carpet” as your flooring type on any thermostat connected to a system under carpet. This ensures the system does not heat above 81 degrees, the maximum programming temperature that Warmup recommends under carpet. Please confirm the floor heating limit of the flooring you are using with your flooring manufacturer.

Always check with your flooring manufacturer first to make sure you are in compliance with their recommendations. Some carpet tile backings do not conduct or allow the heat to transfer well. Therefore it is important you discuss with the manufacturer prior to purchase/installation.
