How to Connect Your 7iE Thermostat to the MyHeating App
You can connect your 7iE Thermostat to the MyHeating App with the QR Code in the “Network” settings. Scan the QR Code through the camera in the MyHeating App and follow the prompts on the app to complete the setup.

Before You Begin
Before you begin the process of connecting your 7iE Thermostat to WiFi, ensure you have done the following:
Download & Set Up the MyHeating App
Start by downloading the MyHeating App if you have not done so already. The app can be downloaded from the App Store for iPhones and the Google Play Store for Android Phones. Then, open the app and follow the prompts to create and set up your account.
Use a 2.4 GHz Network
The thermostat must be connected to a 2.4 GHz network in order to connect to the app. Connect your phone to the WiFi network that you would like the thermostat to connect to. Your phone must remain connected to this network for the remainder of this process.
If you are unsure if you have a 2.4 GHz network or need assistance setting one up, please contact your network provider.
Connecting to Another Smart Device
If you wish to connect your thermostat to another Smart Device (such as Apple Home or Amazon Alexa), you must first connect your thermostat to the MyHeating App. Complete the following steps before continuing with any other Matter-Enabled Smart Device.
On Your Thermostat
To connect your Warmup 7iE Smart Thermostat to the MyHeating App, start by pressing the 3 bars at the bottom of the screen to access the menu. Next, press “Settings” and then “Network.” Then, press the “Connect with MyHeating App” button. You will see a QR Code appear on the screen. The next steps will be completed on your phone with the MyHeating App.
On the MyHeating App
Open the app on your phone and click the 3 bars in the top left corner to open the settings menu. Then, click “Add Room.” (If this is your first time using the app, you may first need to add a “location” before you can add a “room.”) On the next screen, press the second option, showing an icon of a thermostat with a QR Code in it and a plus button. Note that the first option, with the dashes inside the thermostat icon, is for older devices only (4iE and previous) to connect using a device number.
Next, the app will bring up your camera. Line up the QR Code with the square outline in the camera to scan it. Before you can use the camera, you may need to give the app permission to use the camera in your phone’s application settings.
When the QR Code has been successfully scanned, the app will move to the next screen. Here, press “Connect” and then “Allow” and “Join.”
Once connected, you will be prompted to enter your WiFi password on the app. Enter the password for the network you are currently connected to and then press “Next.” Your thermostat will begin to connect and will reflect successful connection steps on the thermostat screen.
After the checkmark next to “Join WiFi” appears, you will be prompted on your phone to enter details of the room. Fill in the 3 fields (Room Name, Room Type, and Power Source) and then press “Add Room.”
If completed successfully, your phone will display a message that reads “room added successfully” and your thermostat will display a message that reads “Congratulations! Your thermostat is connected.” The setup is now complete. Press “Done” to return to the home screen.
