Setting into manual mode allows you to set a fixed target temperature for the thermostat to achieve. The thermostat will continue to maintain this temperature until another operating mode or temperature is selected. How to set into Manual Mode on the 6iE Smart Thermostat:

  • Unlock the 6iE and press the menu icon
  • Select Mode
  • Select the Manual Mode slider
  • Use the back icon to return to the home screen
  • Set a fixed target temperature for the thermostat to achieve and press accept

It is important to understand that once a temperature is set in Manual Mode, it means that the temperature is set indefinitely until it is turned off. Also, Manual Mode creates a simple on and off-temperature operation.

To turn Manual Mode off, follow these next few steps.

  • Select the menu icon
  • Select Mode
  • Select the Program slider
  • Use the back icon to return to the home screen

  • Press the menu icon
  • Select Mode
  • Select the Heating Off slide
  • Use the back icon to return to the home screen

There are two ways to turn the heating back on, use one of the two options below.

  1. Press “Heating Off” on the home screen
  2. Go back into mode select and press the “Heating Off” slider
