The CommBox and Resibox have been programmed to work with a variety of third-party sensors. Click “Read More” for details.
The CommBox-600 is equipped with four (4) 50Amp 3-Phase relay contactors. This means that at 2-phase, you can connect up to 200 Amps worth of power, but at 3-phase, you can connect 150A per contactor. The relays are rated for 120-600 volts so the CommBox can be wired for 208, 277 and 480 using 3-Phase.
Out of the box, no. Each ‘box’ will need its own sensor to trigger. Click “Read More” for more details.
The BOX system can be used with single-phase electric power. Click “Read More” for details.
To wire in 3-phase you need 3-phase supply power. Click “Read More” for details.
The four DIP switches are located on the back of the thermostat unit on back of the door as shown in picture. Click “Read More” for details.

The HI/LO error message means that the ambient sensor readings (on snow sensor) are out of reliable measuring range. Click “Read More” for details.
Error 2 “SensErr 2” will appear when the upper limit sensor is not connected or has short-circuited. Click “Read More” for details.
Error 1 “SensErr 1” will appear when there is a communication error with one (or more) snow sensors. Click “Read More” for details.
The COMMBOX-600 is a “Plug and Play” controlled power distribution panel for frost protection, ice and snow melting projects. When receiving a signal from the sensor(s)m the contactors are activated, energizing your heating system. DIP switch settings determine how the zones activate. When programming your system, make sure DIP switch 1 is in the ON position. The program manual can be navigated by using the SELECT (+) to move forward or SELECT (-) to go back through settings.
The amperage capacity of the Resibox is 120A and for the Commbox it is 230 Amps. The Resibox has (4) of the 30A/2-pole contactors rated 120-277V for a total of maximum 120A load capacity. Click “Read More” for details.
