Video Instructions
The video below will visually walk you through the process of changing the setback temperature on your 7iE Thermostat:
Written Instructions
To change the setback temperature on your Warmup 7iE Smart Thermostat, start by pressing the 3 bars at the bottom of the screen to access the menu. Next, press “Program” and then “Setback.”
A pop up will appear with a scrollbar for you to select a temperature. Scroll to select your desired setback temperature and then press “Accept” to save the setting.
Press “Back” to return to the home screen.
What is the Setback Temperature?
The setback temperature is the temperature that your thermostat will never fall below, even outside of regular programming.
For example, if you have only one schedule set for the thermostat to heat the floor daily to 80°F between 6:00AM and 9:00AM, the setback temperature would apply to any time outside of the programming when the heat would normally not be scheduled to turn on. If your setback temperature is set to 74°F, even though there is no programming outside of 6:00AM and 9:00AM, the heat will still turn on during that time if the temperature falls below 74°F.
