How do I know if my 7iE Thermostat is heating the floor?

Your 7iE Thermostat has a “Heating Indicator” that will help you determine when your system is actively heating the floor.

Video Instructions

The video below will explain the heating indicator and how to tell if your system is heating:

Written Instructions

What is the Heating Indicator?

The Heating Indicator is a triangle icon that will appear to show you that the floor is currently heating and is located to the left of the large temperature numbers in the center of the screen.

When the floor is actively heating, you will see the triangle Heating Indicator appear to the left of the temperature.

When the floor is not actively heating, the triangle Heating Indicator will not be visible on the thermostat’s screen.

How can I test that the 7iE is sending power to the floor?

If the Heating Indicator is not visible, simply use the scroll bar on the right of the thermostat screen to increase the temperature and press “Accept.”

The temperature you set must be higher than the current temperature of the floor. This will tell the thermostat to send power to the floor, causing the Heating Indicator to appear. This means that your floor is heating.

When the heating is turned back off, the Heating Indicator will disappear.
