Setting your 7iE Thermostat to “Manual Mode”


Your 7iE Thermostat is capable of running either from programming or manually. Switching to Manual Mode allows you control the temperature yourself, with no programming involved.

To set up Manual Mode on your Warmup 7iE Smart Thermostat, follow the instructions written below:

 

What is Manual Mode?

Setting your thermostat to Manual Mode allows you to set a fixed target temperature for the thermostat to achieve. The thermostat will continue to maintain this temperature until another operating mode or temperature is selected.

 

How to turn on Manual Mode

To turn manual mode on, start by pressing the 3 bars at the bottom of the thermostat screen to open the menu. Next, press Mode. In the Mode menu, press the slider next to “Manual.” The slider will move to the right and turn green. You will also notice that the slider for the “Program” option above will move to the left and turn gray. Only one of these heating modes can be active at a time.

Press the back button to return to the home screen.

You can now use the scroll bar (or the ‘+’ and ‘-‘ buttons) on the right of the home screen to adjust the temperature manually. The temperature you select will maintain indefinitely until you direct the thermostat otherwise.

 

How to turn off Manual Mode

To turn manual mode off, start by pressing the 3 bars at the bottom of the thermostat screen to open the menu. Next, press Mode. In the Mode menu, press the slider next to “Manual.” The slider will move to the left and turn gray and the “Program” slider will move to the right and turn green. Any programming you had previously scheduled will resume.
