How to control the Window Detection on a 7iE Thermostat


If you would like to change the Window Detection settings on your 7iE Thermostat, you can do so through the Heating Preference Settings menu.

Written Instructions

To control the window detection on your Warmup 7iE Smart Thermostat, start by pressing the 3 bars at the bottom of the screen to access the menu. Next, press “Settings” and then “Heating Preference.”

Press the slider next to the “Open Window Detection” option to select your preference. If the slider is green, open window detection is on. If the slider is gray, open window detection is off.

Once the setting is correctly selected, press “Back” to return to the home screen.
