How to Change the Background of your 7iE Thermostat to a Custom Image


If you wish to change your 7iE Thermostat Background to a custom image, you can do so through the thermostat settings in the MyHeating App.

Written Instructions

To change the background of your 7iE Thermostat to a custom image, start by opening the MyHeating App on your phone. Note that you must, first, successfully connect your thermostat to the MyHeating App before you can upload a custom background.

In the app, under the name of the thermostat that you would like to change the background of, press the rectangle “thermostat” icon next to the settings gear icon. On the next screen, press the “Background” drop down menu. Scroll to highlight the “Uploaded” option and press “Done.” You will, then, be able to select a custom image from your photos. Once you have selected the image you would like to use, press “Save” to confirm your changes.

Your thermostat will take a few moments to update and then will automatically return to the home screen with the image you selected as the background.

To revert your thermostat background to one of the default settings, either redo the above steps and select either the “Light” or “Dark” option through the app or through the thermostat’s Display Settings.
