How to Choose a Sensor Type on your EZPT Thermostat


If you are using a floor sensor other than the one that came with your EZPT Thermostat, you can change the sensor type in the “Installer Settings” menu.

When should I change the Sensor Type on my thermostat?

If you are not using the floor sensor that was provided with your EZPT Thermostat, you can choose a different sensor type through the settings menu to ensure that the sensor in the floor properly communicates with the thermostat.

If you are using the floor sensor that was provided with your thermostat, this setting will be correct by default and does not need to be changed.

How do I change the Sensor Type on my thermostat?

To change the sensor type on your thermostat, start by pressing the “Edit” button at the bottom of the screen. Then, press “Installer Settings.”

In the “Installer Settings” menu, press “Sensor Type.”

On this screen, a list of common sensor types will appear. Select the option that matches the sensor that was installed then press the check mark button in the bottom left to confirm the setting.

Use the back arrows in the top left of the screen to return to the main page.
