What is the purpose of the Backlight Delay function on my thermostat?
The Backlight Delay function allows you to choose how long the thermostat’s screen will remain fully lit after the last screen press. After the period of time that you select in this setting has passed with no screen presses, the screen will dim. The Backlight Delay duration can be set anywhere between 5 and 60 seconds. The default delay is set to 30 seconds.

To adjust the Backlight Delay setting on your thermostat, start by pressing the “Edit” button at the bottom of the screen. Then, press “User Settings.”
In the “User Settings” menu, press the arrow in the bottom right to move to the second page, then press “Set Backlight Time.”
On this screen, use the up and down arrows to adjust the time (in seconds) that you would like to set the delay to. Then, press the check mark button in the bottom left to confirm the setting.
