Video Instructions
The video below will visually walk you through the process of changing the Sensor Application on your EZPT Thermostat:
Written Instructions
What is the purpose of the Sensor Application function on my thermostat?
The Sensor Application function allows you to choose which sensor your thermostat uses to control your underfloor heating system. There are 3 options: Floor, Room, and Room/Floor Protection.
- Floor: Controls the heating system based on the floor sensor connected to the thermostat.
- Room: Controls the heating system based on the thermostat’s internal air sensor.
- Room/Floor Protection: Uses the thermostat’s internal air sensor but is restricted by a floor temperature limit, which can be set in the Floor Protection Installer Setting.
The option you choose is mostly a personal preference. However, if you are receiving a Floor Sensor Error on your thermostat, it may be necessary to use the “Room” option.
The thermostat will be set to “Floor” by default.
