Is an electric floor heating thermostat the same as regular thermostats?


No, floor heating thermostats are specifically designed to control electric floor heating systems. 

How long should I program my CommBox to melt snow?

How can I turn my system on or off completely?

Does the 3iE have a battery backup?


In the event of a power outage, the capacitor will hold the charge for approx 1 hour, after which time the device will require re-programming.

Can I use the 4iE to control my Air Conditioning unit (A/C)?


The 4iE is designed for use with heating only and is not capable of controlling air conditioning units.

Can I replace tile immediately when repair is completed?


After completing a heated wire repair it is safe to replace the needed tile. Make sure your resistance readings are correct before re-laying the tile after the repair is completed.

Will any third party sensor work with the CommBox or ResiBox?

What do I do if I have too much or too little NAMSR cable during installation?


consider tightening the triangles, whilst maintaining the proper height based on the overhang or use t-splices and end kits for downspouts so you do not have to use extra cable coming back up

Can one AirSense be used with two CommBoxes?
