Error Message E2 – UCCG floor heating thermostat

Error Message E2: External sensor has short-circuited or disconnected.

When you get a error message E2, check to make sure that the floor sensor probe is connected to the thermostat properly. If not, check the resistance readings of your floor sensor probe. Should the readings not fall within range, the sensor probe has short-circuited and needs replacing. If the readings are good, the thermostat needs to be replaced. In either option, please contact your local reseller to get your replacement part(s).
