The Challenge

In the town of Centerville, IA, the Broshar family found themselves unable to use a large portion of their home: the basement. Ever since moving into the home the large space was mostly vacant which caused frustration for the family who wished for more functional space in their home.

The Solution

In 2010, the Broshar family added a Warmup system to their bathroom during a renovation which quickly became a popular hangout – even for all of their pets who loved the cozy space. The funny obsession with the bathroom floor heating left Chris daydreaming of the same comfort in their useless basement.

The Result

What once seemed like a dream to the Broshar Family soon became a reality. Chris researched the Warmup system on our website and was delighted to learn that the FOIL system would install quickly and easily under carpet. Knowing this, Chris started planning a basement renovation that would ultimately result in more functional space for himself and his beloved family. What was once as a large, vacant portion of the Broshar Family home is now a Michigan football fan dream home theater. The Warmup FOIL system played a vital role in adding function to this space as it was previously too cold to use. Amongst many smart devices in the room, the 4iE Smart WiFi thermostat on the wall with remote accessibility via the My Heating App ensures that the Broshar Family will never have to cheer their favorite team on in the cold.
