How to make more money using the new Warmup brochure
The Warmup sales brochure was designed for you to easily walk your customer through the buying process, giving them enough information to make a purchasing decision.
Below are some quick tips on selling Warmup® Underfloor Heating as an essential part of any flooring job.
Start by asking every customer “How do you plan to heat your new floor?”
When a customer is considering a new floor, a great way to get a discussion going is to ask “How do you plan to heat your new floor?”
Then, share with them that:
Warmup Underfloor Heating suits almost any floor type: (pg 1) – More opportunities to sell!
On page 1, find the chart which lists the Warmup products that can safely be used with your customer’s floor type.
It is an efficient way to heat: (pg 2-3) – It is a green product!
Heating a large area at a low temperature produces the most comfortable and efficient form of heat because the heat is concentrated in the lower half of the room, something the Romans discovered over 2,000 years ago. On page 2-3, show your customers the colourful images showing heat efficiency, comparing electric underfloor heating to a typical central heating system.
It is Inexpensive to run for 3 reasons: (pg 4-5) – Saves the homeowner money!

1.
|
|
Gas and oil prices have risen more sharply than electricity since 2002, making electricity a much cheaper heating alternative (see page 4).
|
|
2.
|
|
Underfloor heating is fast and responsive heat, using less fuel and making it a very efficient heating method for pennies per day. On page 5, point out that you can heat 10 sq ft of flooring for less than a penny per hour.

|
3.
|
|
Control fuel costs further by zoning each room. Page 5 shows an example of zoning usage for a typical house throughout the day. The chart at the bottom of the page gives examples of typical room sizes with associated costs for a winter period

Warmup® is a quality product: (pg 7) - Better then the competition!
At only 1/8 inch in diameter, the Warmup heating wire won’t raise floor levels. It is the thinnest and toughest wire on the market. The wire has been tested and approved by several testing houses around the world, including UL, making it a safe product. On page 7, you can see Warmup’s dual-core wire, which not only make it easy to install (because you don’t have to return the wire to the thermostat), it also has the added benefit of cancelling out any Electro Magnetic Field, giving your customers peace of mind.
Insulation boards make the System heat up faster, reducing fuel costs: (pg 10) – Another selling opportunity!
The keys to “being green” and lowering your carbon footprint are (1) using less fuel to produce the heat and (2) retaining that heat by insulating adequately. On page 10, use the heat-up chart to explain that the System’s heat-up time can be cut by up to 80 percent by simply using Warmup® Insulation Boards. Warmup tests have proven that the Warmup Insulation Boards can lower running costs by as much as 50 percent and pay for itself in 2∏ years.
Commercial Projects around the world: (pg 24-25) – Good for any project!
Warmup® heaters are so highly regarded that they’ve been installed in some of the most prestigious locations around the world, including the MGM Grand in Macau.
Warmup Services and Warranties: (pg 26-27) – Best warranty in the industry!
All Warmup® Systems come with a 30 year warranty and a one-time homeowner transfer option for added resale value (see page 27 for more details). Warmup also offers a Quotation and Layout Service (see page 26), so that you have accurate costs and products before you start the job.
Running Cost information: (pg 31) – Green, money saving and we can prove it!
Warmup has done extensive testing to International Standards to give your customers predictable running costs, so that there are no surprises once the System and floor have been installed. On page 31, we’ve supplied a chart based on floor area and the number of hours the System is on. For example, if you are heating 50 square feet of floor area (remember, it’s the room size minus all the permanent fixtures such as cupboards, baths, etc) for 2 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the evening, the total cost per day would be (7.1¢ + 10.2¢ = 17.3¢). You can find an example of how to easily calculate heating costs for your customers on page 30.
Remember to stamp the back of the brochure with your details so that customers can contact you to order their Warmup® Underfloor Heating System.
